We just (finally) ordered our wedding pictures from our wedding in May. We decided against using our photographers wedding albums because the albums themselves were boring (my wife’s thoughts not necessarily mine). One thing I think might be cool is to get a nice Irish themed wedding photo album, but I’m having trouble finding anything like that. Does anyone know at least where I could find some cool wedding photo albums (professional quality) for a good price? I am unfortunately unsure how many pictures we ordered, but I know we ordered a bunch (my wife handled a lot of this). I think it’s at least 300 pictures though (so a pretty big book). Thanks, I’d appreciate any help especially with my rather vague question.

I would suggest a scrap-book like this site offers:
http://www.joann.com/joann/catalog.jsp?CATID=cat2607
Jo-ann’s carries hundreds of "scrap-book" ideas, but that is just a glorified photo album, I thought being the man of the house you may not be familiar with this place.
Be forewarned that you may have to go to your local Jo-Ann Fabrics store to find these. I have a friend who gets huge photo albums there, but "scrap-booking" allows you to decorate every page if you wish with little do-dads and fun "reminders" of the wedding.
The store also has a bunch of filler pages if you need extra, and tons of ideas/people who can help you find this when you go in.
If there is no jo-ann’s near-by then perhaps you can find something online.
I would say this is the best place for albums that I’ve ever found.
However, in searching specifically for you I found:

perhaps it’s more for you!
Good luck!

why not have one made
i would be going with celtic knotwork rather than irish theme
(that conjours up clovers & pixies, sorry)
this company does stinning leather work for albums in celtic knotwork
and you can research the different meanings of the knots and have the love knots, together forever knots etc

and please steer away from claddaghs
unless its your thing

I found hte best way to do photo albums is to buy a plain one nad decorate the outside of it myself. I did this for my aunt and uncles wedding last summer and they liked mine better than the ones that were totally wedding oriented that other people gave them. Mines on display and all i did was take some lace around the edges put different scrapbook things on the front and added a few personal touches of things they liked. i’d say all in all i spent about 30 minutes decorating hte photoalbums…i did 3…and i bought the photo albums at hte dollar store, i got one red, one white and one black. They held about 100 photos each…I think they turned out really nice. I also did this for a friends baby but i did a smaller one and it wasnt as good as these…you can find alot of irish themed stuff in a craft store to make a good photo albums
